PROVEN in Independent Labs to NEUTRALIZE Mould, Bacteria & Viruses
The Odorox® difference is our ability to PROVE the effectiveness of this technology through the testing of “reference organisms” in independent labs and through the work in the field. Reference organisms are selected with the assumption that a process which can kill the most resilient reference organism is most likely able to kill any organisms in that specific strain of bacteria or mould/fungus. This is an EPA and FDA approved methodology.
Mould is a very resistant organism to kill when compared to bacteria organisms because the process requires the killing of the bacteria the mould feeds on, thus starving the mould. Aspergilus niger is considered one of the most resilient fungal strains and is identified by the EPA as a “reference organism” for testing purposes in the mould group. These tests also provide information on how long the Odorox® machines should be run to achieve the desired results in a given situation. See more on mould and mould remediation.
The inclusion of these resilient bacteria tests are to illustrate the Odorox® products ability to work in Biohazard and Trauma clean up, sewage treatment and other situations where the elimination of bacteria is necessary while at the same time eliminating the odour.
